Spring is here and that means we are in the stage where we need to cool off, especially when it comes to the heat we definitely need something to cool off with.

Carbonated drinks we all know they can do that but they do more harm than good as they increase the toxins in your body. This is why an alternative to help us cool down while flushing toxins while staying healthy especially when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic we’re currently experiencing.

Detox juices have been around for a while and they usually are a great remedy to cure a common cold when you aren’t feeling too well but they always come back into popularity around spring/summer when the weather gets better or when people want to. But this should be an all year round activity we should participate in without any further a-do let’s jump right into it .

A kidney cleanse


The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs in the renal system. They help the body pass waste as urine. They also help filter blood before sending it back to the heart. Kidneys don’t cleanse themselves which is why this juice is phenomenal as a self cleanse for a warm spring day.

To make this cleanse you need;

2 stalks of celery

2 carrots

4 cucumbers

1 beetroot

1 apple

1 orange

Liver flushing 


The liver’s main job is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract, before passing it to the rest of the body. The liver also detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes drugs. As it does so, the liver secretes bile that ends up back in the intestines. Which is why it’s highly important to cleanse your liver from all the toxins that are collected throughout the year. To make this phenomenal cleanse all you need is;

1/2 of the juice of a lemon

Bit of ginger

1/2 teaspoon of turmeric

Blood and liver cleanse 


This is a second version of a liver cleanse in the form of an actual juice rather than a ginger turmeric shot, so if the previous one is a bit too much to handle this will be perfect for you. All you need to create this is

2 apples

1 cucumbers

2 lemons

2 beetroot’s

1 piece of ginger

3 carrots

Colon cleanse 


This next cleanse is for my “weight loss” fanatics. If you are looking to shred some extra water weight for your summer body this is the way to go while cleansing your colon. This aids in digestion is anti-inflammatory, supports your immune system as well as protects against macular degeneration. To create this FAB drink you need;

1 cup of organic carrot juice

2 oranges

1 cup of pineapples

1 cup of mangos


1 teaspoon of honey

1 teaspoon of turmeric

Reduce water retention 


The human body consists of approximately 60% water. Water is vital in helping the body function properly and is largely responsible for dissolving nutrients and eliminating waste. When the body fails to eliminate excess water, this is referred to as water retention. Which is why reducing water retention is super important to make this refreshing juice all you need is;

1/4 of a lemon

1 cucumber

It’s really important to take advantage of natural ingredients and the vitamins and minerals contained within fruits, veggies as well as spices that that refresh and restart your body to its original status. There are a lot of toxins and terrible preservatives in your daily foods such as junk food, shelf foods, fast foods, etc and to cleanse them out of your body we need to cleanse. However, with the trend this shouldn’t be something that is done in the spring or in the summer this is an all year long movement that people should begin to join.
